About the Club
Our Aim
The main aim of the Club is to give local business people the opportunity to help each other generate more business. The Club enables members to meet on a regular basis to provide referrals to other club members and promote their own business to Club members and guests. Informality is the key.
Our Members
Our members represent a wide spectrum of businesses within the local area. However, any trade, business or profession cannot be represented by more than one member.
We always have a warm welcome for visitors but they cannot be from the same industry as an existing member. Take a look at our list of members to see if there is an opening for your business.
Our Meetings
We meet at 7am on the first Friday of the month at The Royal Wells in Tunbridge Wells, for breakfast and informal networking with the meeting starting at 7.20am. There is a chance for all members and guests to tell the room what they do in 60 seconds and pass their business cards around. After a short break to recharge our cups of tea or coffee we meet back for a 10 minute member presentation and a chance for members to thank each other for referrals and work carried out. We don’t expect members to contribute every month, only when they have a quality referral to give. The meeting finishes around 8.30am.
Fees
There is no membership or joining fee, the only on-going cost is a £9.50 charge for breakfast plus a £30 fee to cover the administrative costs of running the Club which anyone wishing to join will be asked to pay six months in advance.
We are a not for profit group, so this simply supports the breakfast and the administration. Any surplus left at the end of the year goes back into developing the club or subsidising additional events for the members, like our After-Christmas or Summer dinner.
Pepenbury
The nominated charity of the Club is Pepenbury, which provides high quality care and support for adults with a learning disability – some of the most vulnerable people in society. To find out more visit the Pepenbury website.
