The Friday Club is a very friendly club and we always have a warm welcome for guests. For many of our members Friday Club was the first networking club they joined.
We work on the basis that guests are invited and accompanied by a member, but if you want to join, then contact the Club so we can find someone to act as your host.
The Club works on a one representative per business type basis, so we are sorry but if your main area of business is already covered by an existing member it won’t be possible for you to join. If there is a crossover, as there often is, the member will be asked if it’s OK.
We meet at 7am for breakfast and informal networking. The meeting starts at 7.20am and we sit down for a chance for all members and guests to tell the room what they do in 60 seconds and pass their business cards around. After a short break to recharge our cups of tea or coffee we meet back for a 10 minute member presentation and a chance for members to thank each other for referrals and work carried out. We don’t expect members to contribute every month, only when they have a quality referral to give. The meeting finishes around 8.30am.
There is no membership or joining fee, the only on-going cost is a £8.50 charge for breakfast plus a £30 fee to cover the administrative costs of running the club which anyone wishing to join will be asked to pay six months in advance.
Guests are asked to pay £8.50 for breakfast.

What our members say:
"We have hugely enjoyed coming to the Friday Club over the years. For a practice such as ours it is a great opportunity to gain new business, whether it is a fellow Friday Club member or a contact a member has. It is beneficial for us to learn how other businesses operate and use these experiences to better our own service to our clients."
Barney Lewis, Lewis & Co Accountants
“Friday Club was the first networking group I joined after becoming freelance. The group were warm, welcoming and generous with their advice, all of which has helped to build my business and my confidence.”
Wendy Roberts, Freelance PR and Social Media Consultant
"I always look forward to meeting old friends and new contacts and to having a good laugh. Why can't all networking meetings be like this?"
